Starting Point: Chambaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh
Nearest City: Chandigarh (~2.5 hrs drive)
6:00 AM: Start from Chandigarh (self-drive or arranged)
8:30 AM: Arrive at Chambaghat, Solan; meet your guide
9:00 AM: Begin hike through village trail & pine forests
12:00 PM: Reach Karol Tibba (break at temple, photography)
1:00 PM: Hike to Pandava Caves (1.5 km from temple)
2:30 PM: Begin descent back to Chambaghat
4:30 PM: End hike at Chambaghat; return to Chandigarh
Moderate. The trail has steep and tricky sections but is doable for fit beginners with some trekking experience.
The trail can get slippery in winters. Snow gear and caution are recommended.
